Bijou Square asks: Where were you before you lived here?
Suzanne: I lived in Norwalk, Milford, and Italy before coming to Bridgeport to run City Lights Gallery.
Bijou Square: What brought you here?
Suzanne: City Lights Gallery, the space, the potential. I lived in SoNo until the real estate development squeezed the artists living and working there out.
Bijou Square: What do you do in Bridgeport?
Suzanne: I run City Lights Gallery, present public art events, offer classes in the gallery space, teach art to children and adults.
Bijou Square: What’s one spot you could be in Bridgeport all day and why?
Suzanne: Seaside Park is great, Saint Mary's, and I like the environment of McLevy Green.
Bijou Square: What do you think we’re missing here?
Suzanne: More art events and classes, festivals, ice cream shops and sushi would be nice. A larger arts audience and art enthusiasts.
